Europe’s largest paint group, pierre.dk, now expands further in Germany. Here the subsidiary pierre Autolackierung GmbH has just acquired another large and efficient damage centre in Hamburg with 23 employees
Via its German subsidiary pierre Autolackierung GmbH, pierre.dk Autolakering A/S acquired its fourth German damage centre. This time it is Diebenau KG, which is situated in Hamburg.
This means that pierre Autolackierung GmbH now controls four damage centres in Germany, two of which are located in Hamburg.
– We have acquired a company which was founded in 1968, and which has a reputation of emphasizing excellent customer service, high quality, and on-time delivery. These are parameters, which fully match the concept that is the cornerstone of the entire pierre.dk-concept, says Pierre Legarth, who is working chairman of the board of directors and founder of the pierre.dk Group.
Huge step in the right direction
There are 23 employees at Diebenau KG which since 1979 has domiciled at its current address in the north-westerly part of Hamburg, only a few long stone’s throws from Volkspark Stadion and autobahn A7.
For many years Mr. Diebenau has owned the company together with his sister and will in the future be attached to the damage centre as a consultant.
– It is still part of our strategic plan to establish up to about a dozen branches in Germany before the end of 2017, and of course the acquisition of Diebenau KG is a huge step in the right direction, Pierre Legarth says.
The goal is that the international expansion of the pierre.dk group shall continue via establishing of paint damage repair centres near strategically important traffic junctions that have biggest the concentration of cars in Germany.
